Trusts and Major Grants Lead

We are creating a new fundraising role on an interim basis, to support the team as our Director of Fundraising steps into our interim CEO role. The Trusts and Major Grants Lead will join us at a pivotal moment in our organisational journey.This role is pivotal to the growth and success of Khulisa as it enters its first year of its new strategy. Its purpose is to develop the charity’s fundraising activities in sourcing small, medium and major (six figures) grants from trusts, foundations and
institutional/government funders.

Role: Trust and Major Grants Lead
Salary: Up to £40K (pro rata) – 2.5 days per week
Contract: Fixed term (10 months)*
Reports to: Head of Fundraising and Communications
Location: Mix of WFH and working from our new premises in South/Central
London (expected move in date: August – TBC) Applications from those living

Benefits: Flexible working options; access to generous wellbeing allowance plus 25 days holiday per year (pro rata) on top of bank holidays and closure over the Christmas period at the discretion of the CEO.

Youth Engagement and Communications Assistant

We’re working in partnership with Charityworks, the UK-non-profit sector’s Kickstart gateway as part of a collaborative effort to power up our sector with exceptional talent and make a real impact on youth unemployment. This means in this case, applicants are only eligible to apply if they are aged 16 – 25 years old.

The Youth engagement and Communications Assistant will support Khulisa to create a range of engaging and high quality communications content and to develop and deliver a new youth engagement strategy.  This role will be responsible for improving the visibility of our brand and improving the understanding of our work amongst young people, parents and professionals working in the youth, justice and education sectors.  You will also champion the voices and views of young people who use our services, by developing and delivering a high-quality youth engagement strategy. 

This role includes a supported 6-month development programme delivered by Charityworks. The programme will equip you with the connections, experiences, tools and insight needed to succeed at work, help you to build a peer community of fellows and give you the skills to transition well beyond the placement, and develop long term careers in the non-profit sector.  

Contract:  Part time (4 days / 30 hours per week); 6 month contract 

Salary: £8.91 per hour 

Reports to:  Delivery and Engagement Manager

Location: London (though currently home based due to Covid-19

Associate Facilitator vacancies

Khulisa are looking for new Associate Facilitators to deliver programmes for us in Manchester and London, with both young people (11 years plus) and professionals (teachers, prison officers, YOT teams, social workers)
